Contrary to most on these boards, I actually have no issues with regular enemy variety. There are WAY too many rune chest puzzles. Oftentimes I'd open a chest or complete a request and my reward would be something less good than I already had. A lot of the sidequests and hidden chests don't offer compelling rewards. I felt like I was spending too much time in the menu. But playing through a second time, parts of it really felt like a slog. I think the puzzles are mostly really well done. I love the characters, the perspective, the mechanics, and the semi openness of the game. I had an absolute blast, and I contend that the Baldur bossfights at the beginning and the end are some of the best I've ever played. With God of War 5 recently being teased I thought it was time to finally replay this bad boy. My initial playthrough was absolutely amazing, and I thought it just might be my personal GOTG. So I just did my first replay of God of War 2018 since it released on 4/20/18. ![]()
